Global Giving was launching an important new fundraising campaign with the goal of creating three times more impact by 2030. They needed a professional ambition prospectus to explain the campaign and motivate supporters to contribute.
The project required a deep understanding of Global Giving’s model, its case for support and its brand voice to create a leave-behind piece that could be informative, uplifting and compelling. Building the case also required expertise in persuasive writing and design. We were delighted to help with the framing, writing and design from start to finish.
Our Solution
We started by learning about the campaign, the needs it will address, and why Global Giving is uniquely positioned to make it a success. We crafted an intentional messaging arc to lead the reader step by step through the case for support. The arc ends with a clear and approachable call to action.
Together with the client, we wrote and edited the text to fit the messaging arc. We designed each page and spread individually, working with the client’s existing brand voice. Photos from Global Giving’s local partners provide context and back up the overall message of investing in community-led change. Custom infographics clarify and strengthen the logical case.
After the ambition prospectus was finalized, we worked with a trusted professional printer to have the booklets printed and delivered to the client. We also created a separate digital version of the booklet with active links and other digital features.
